Cruising by Public Art in Flagstaff, Arizona

This weekend I traveled North to the small mountain town of Flagstaff, Arizona to escape the blustering heat of the Phoenix summer. While enjoying the cool mountain breeze in downtown Flagstaff I walked into some fantastic public art painted by Lyle Motley. The mural, for the Absolute Bike building, captures the joys of a bike ride including bandaid’s on the biker’s knee and elbow. Motley cleverly uses ribbon to weave different scenes into one fluid composition. The mural took Motley two months to complete, you can see the making of the mural here.
