1st Annual Experimental Video Festival

Launch Pad Cooperative is pleased to present their 1st Annual Experimental Video Festival during a two night screening on November 9 and 16, 2013. This festival is open to all forms of experimental videos, including genres such as performance, animation, stop motion, etc.

Filmmakers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to submit. Plus there is NO entry fee!

All accepted artists will be included in our press materials and on our website.

Please read the regulations carefully and send an email with any questions.


  •  Deadline: October 25, 2013
  • Wanted: single channel videos by videomakers from within the United States
  • The videos may originate from the years 2007-2013. Excerpts of videos are not accepted!!
  • Duration: 7 minutes or less (no exception)
  • Max 3 videos can be submitted.
  • The preview copy should be uploaded for download by using the free upload platform WE TRANSFER (up to 2GB), after upload please send the link to, and Launch Pad will download the video then.
  • for review only – following video file formats are eligible: .mpeg2 (DVD), . mov (Quicktime, H264 codec only), .mp4
  • only selected artists will be notified and invited to send a hardcopy of the selected video in best screening quality.

You must fill out one application form per video you submit.

  • Each video should be on its own, separate DVD.
  • We prefer to receive the videos as .MOV files
  • You can send more than one DVD (and application form) per package.
  • We accept no more than 3 works per artist

    Only for American Residences? What about Canadian? Were filmmakers too, y’know :P
